- The Edge Transport server acts as a relay between the internal Exchange servers and EOP for outbound messaging from the on-premises organization to the Exchange Online organization.
- Having Edge on Server 2016 RDS actually helps when a domain network has a mix of Windows 10 desktops and Server 2016 RD Session Host servers, and uses roaming user profiles. Already, roaming profiles from Windows 10 Build 1607 will load on Server 2016 RTM. Having the option to restore Edge and other Store functionality wouldn't hurt in this case.

The difference between the two installers is that the Enterprise installer (MicrosoftEdgeEnterpriseX64.msi) and the Microsoft Edge Insider installer (MicrosoftEdgeSetupBeta.exe) is that the Enterprise installer embeds Version 79.0.309.56 into Windows 10, replacing EdgeClassic, while the Microsoft Edge Insider installer does not embed Version 79.

Microsoft Edge Driver for Microsoft Edge will work with the Stable channel and all Insider channels
Download the correct Microsoft Edge Driver version for your build of Microsoft Edge.
To find your correct build number: Launch Microsoft Edge. Open the Settings and more (...) menu, choose Help and feedback, and then choose About Microsoft Edge. Using the correct version of Microsoft Edge Driver for your build ensures it runs correctly.
