It's difficult to organize digital pictures when they are taken with different cameras by different people.

Every digital camera brand uses different convention for naming the files: as an example, Sony® names the pictures 'DSC000xxx', Canon® instead uses 'IMG_000xxx', etc...


If the pictures are moved to a PC using a USB Pen or a CD-ROM they will lose the original creation date and, consequently, it's going to be difficult to sort the pictures in chronological order, especially if they were shot by different cameras on the same day.

iSortPhoto is a useful utility that solves these kind of problems quickly and easily.


You only need to drag and drop your pictures, or a folder containing your pictures, to rename the files with the date and time they were shot. You can also decide to keep th original name as a suffix or add additional words to the file name. Using iSortPhoto you will be able to keep your pictures in chronological order, ready to be used for a presentation or just to be archived for easy retrieval.NEWS:
